X is for Xenodochial
Which means hospitable; kindly to strangers.
In today’s time being kind to strangers is a bit tough.
Maybe not for all, but definitely it isn’t easy.
There are many instances when our patience and understanding level is tested.
When a friend pushes us on purpose, we might take that as a friendly gesture. What if a stranger did that? I doubt half of you would even laugh it off.
As of me, it’s been a bag of mixed emotions.
Sometimes I do flip out in anger.
Sometimes I don’t take it to heart.
Sometimes I keep myself in the other person’s shoes and understand it wasn’t intentional. There is no fixed set of protocol I follow.
So have you been kind to strangers always?
Did you have any good or bad experiences?
I would love it if you could share it with me.
Have a nice day.
