Bangkok Morning is very beautiful - View from Airport

Sky Watch Friday – Bangkok Morning Special

It’s mesmerizing to witness the sun rays steer past the clouds and shine welcoming a new day! Many of the times when I go for a vacation or a trek, I try to witness the early morning sunrise. It’s therapeutic.

Firstly, my love for the sky is infinite. And hence I’m always in awe of it.

Here, I was on my way from Pattaya to the airport in Bangkok.

My family trip came to an end and my kind of was sulking that such an awesome journey had to come to an end. But I have so many memories and while looking at the pictures on my phone and listening to “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” I happened to glance outside on the way to Bangkok Airport. We were almost reaching the airport and the view was spectacular. I quickly get my camera out and capture 2 snaps. One was blurry and the other one was thankfully perfect.

Clicking pictures means different for different people. For me, it’s a way of capturing unique moments. I know of some people who click pictures so in the future when they look back they can remember what all stuff they did on the trip.

But that’s the beauty of Bangkok. I can remember this amazing song because of checking this image. That beautiful morning was saddening because my trip came to an end but I’ll always cherish it for the rest of my life.

Sky Watch Friday – Majuli (River District of India)

I visited Majuli couple of months ago.

Firstly, Majuli is just not any random place.

It is the first ever island which is a district in India.

Although it looks tiny on the map, I must let you know it will take you a lot of time to explore this gem of a place.

You’ll be floored with their smile and hospitality.

Also, you can stay in the bamboo houses.

I liked the aura of this place in general. This is one of the feel good type of places.

You’ll definitely be in peace during your stay in Majuli.

Kaziranga National Park

Sky Watch Friday – Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park in Guwahati, Assam is perhaps the best heavenly abode ever for animals.

Not just animals, but the Sky in Kaziranga National Park is also of the next level. The skies are clear and it seems like a canvas.

For a person like me who goes ga-ga over the sky, Kaziranga had a lot to offer. In the early morning, the sky looks so clear and the clouds feel like they have a bath with milk!

It’s best to visit the park during the morning hours before the sun takes center stage. I am happy with my visit as I saw a few rhinos, but even then the highlight of the morning still was the clear blue sky.

I have lovely memories of this place. This national park is one place animal and nature lovers must visit once. Yes, I do know we are now in a travel free holiday until god knows when!

But whenever possible, it’s best to add this place to your “Places to visit before you die” list. I end my post with a question for you all – Have you visited the Kaziranga National Park? If yes, what was the highlight for you?

Images in Rain

Images in Rainy Season – Sky Watch Friday

Capturing Images in Rain is perhaps one of the best feelings.

The Sky has a dark vibe and it almost feels scary. Yes, this is the same blue sky that shines and brings a wide smile to our faces. But let me tell you, on any given monsoon day, the sky can offer different shades of itself. The sky can be; Light, Plain, Dark, Hazy, etc.

Yes, you also get multiple chances to capture rainbow images and that’s amazing too. As we witnessed the first drop of rains a couple of days ago, it brought back an old memory that’s 3 years ago in 2017 when I was on my way to work.

It was one of the weekdays and as June started to settle in, so did the monsoon season. Now, I love the rains, and clicking sky images with rain is something I love. On this specific day, I noticed 2 different shades of the sky within a span of 2 minutes.

Images in Rain

The above image was captured when I was waiting to board the BEST bus. The sky wasn’t shining but it was quite normal.

Well, I didn’t know that in less than 2 minutes, the sky would have a change of plans.

Images of rainy season

Yes, this is the result after 2 minutes. As soon as I witnessed this, I searched for my phone camera so I could capture some rainy pictures. Although people usually start with searching for their umbrellas/raincoats when the sky turns dark, I search for my smartphone to capture the image of the sky in all its might.

Also, it’s funny how we search for moments to capture on our cameras when there’s the sky who’s posing all the time. Hence I do my part and capture for this beautiful poser. Don’t you think we should give it some more attention, right?

Monsoon images give me peace. I hope to capture some good ones this time too. Have you captured any images in rains? If yes, then please do share them with me.
