Did you’ll see the number of games and props in their wedding background?
This is what my aunt asked me for a wedding we had recently attended. It was innovative and full of fun.
There were props and a photo booth available. People could choose placards stating “Team Bride”, “I’m Next”, “I’m here for the Booze” etc.
Also, the emcee managed to keep people on their toes with some entertaining spot games.
This is where entertainment becomes one of the most important parts of a wedding. By entertainment, I mean various activities you can add to your wedding to spice up the event like games, photo booths, etc.
What about establishing a routine?
Apart from focusing on entertainment, I have noticed that the bride and groom are usually on their toes and running on all cylinders.
The couple has no time absolutely as they are busy discussing the wedding background and other requirements. In the end, they are exhausted by the time the main event arrives.
That’s when I asked my aunt about how can 2 people manage everything? She said they can establish a routine for starters. Doing this together helps them get a head start for the life they soon will live together.
What are my thoughts on entertainment and establishing a routine?
Entertainment is important for any wedding background. You can choose from various options such as dance, photo booth, games, and activities for children, etc. The way you plan your wedding with these events will be important.
Also, establishing a routine for the couple is pretty important. If you can set a routine, handling the wedding background, caterers, guest lists, etc will become less tedious. Do it as early as you can so you both can have your dream wedding minus the hassles.
So tell me what are your thoughts on entertainment and establishing a routine at a wedding?

A marriage is always an exciting function.
But these kinds of activities is what keeps it entertaining too for the guests too.
It would always be an event for remembrance.
Hey Sanjay, bang on! That’s what the couple looks up for. It’s to have the guests remember your event with good memories.
To be very honest I never saw such games in marriages. But this really looks cool idea to spice up. Thanks for sharing
That’s alright. I’ve seen a lot of games at weddings and they’re evolving with time. Let’s hope you get to see one soon post this lockdown.
Having a strategy is a good idea. It makes a wedding much easier to handle. Having said, I wonder how much of the strategy goes as planned, weddings being what they are 😊
Hey Ambica, yeah that’s true as well. Planning can be done but on the day, something does go haywire!
Indian weddings have evolved with time from traditional and ritualistic affairs to events that incorporate contemporary elements. Entertainment in weddings adds a fun element into the proceedings.
Hye buddy, totally. Adding quirky elements makes it an event that everyone remembers!
Yes very true. Entertainment is surely a very important factor in a wedding. I enjoy dancing at weddings as they such fun way to engage everyone who have come and the bridge and groom.
Hey Raksha, totally. I believe its indeed one of the best ways to engage your audience at the weddings.
Such a good post and helpful for me as I am looking for preps for my sister marriage
Hey Pamela, that’s great to know. Congratulations to your sister!
This is a wise advice, always stick to a routine and the sooner one begins better for the couple. Also, marriage should have few interesting entertainment options, as it helps in breaking the ice.
Hey Ramya, that’s exactly what my thought process was for this post.
