Y is for Yealing which means person of the same age.
I know this one’s weird too. Now there’s a word for people who are of the same age. We mostly have such friends from school I believe.
It’s quite weird when you try to count how many friends you are in touch with who are of the same age as you!
So if I had to think, then I could actually think of only 5-10 people whom I know very well who fall in the Yealing category.
How many can you remember?
Y is for Yarborough which means the hand of cards containing no card above nine.
Yes, this one was just selected out of my love for the game of poker. I remember back in 2009-2010 I was addicted completely to Texas Hold ém Poker game on Facebook.
Day in day out, we friends would discuss how much money has been made, which tournament to play, what we would do if the money was real and we could spend it.
I am a millionaire as per the last time I checked it. I knew of all the types of hands. This one’s new though. So now we all know what to call a hand which has no card above the number 9.

A cool post on Yealing and Yarborough. True, as we grow by the years, there are very few friends in our age bracket and time to remain youngs forever:)
Yes, our friends circle just gets lesser than ever as we grow older. i wonder who has more friends when they keep getting older though!
Learned something new here with both yealing and yarborough. I don’t have many yealings these days in my circle of friends, but of course did in my youth. Now next time I play cards I’ll have to remember yarborough and see if I get a hand with one.
Congrats on almost finishing the challenge!
