P is for P is for Paragnosia which means misunderstanding.
This has to be one of my favorite choice due to the meaning. For everyone, paragnosia does visit once a while. Some do that on a regular scale. We tend to understand what we hear or what we thought we heard. This often leads to a lot of confusion and that either ends in an argument or weirdly works in your favor. Unfortunately, the possibility of the latter happening is very less. But for you to have an argument will be of the highest possibility.
But why does all of this happen? It’s simple… We don’t talk.
It can be ego or the friction caused doesn’t let us go ahead to talk and clear out with the other person. But we simply don’t talk. Since no one initiates the conversation, the misunderstanding surely escalates into a fight where in the end both the parties lose their favorite friend/love etc. Why make life so complicated. Just ask. Yes, it will make you look dumb and a possibility of it being your mistake can arise. You can apologize and get back on track. If there was confusion, talking would erase it or the friendship but it will be beneficial. Why I say beneficial is because when we keep all this in our mind pending, it affects us in our daily life. Our decisions, movements, sleeping, eating etc everything will have this running around in the back of your mind.
You have one mind and it has a lot of productive work to do. Instead of letting it do that one important job, we run these issues up and come up with possible scenarios that result in overthinking and ultimately into disaster. Don’t torture your mind and self so much. The next time if you feel someone misunderstood what you said or felt, just go ahead and talk. Do not expect the other person to come ahead and discuss that. They might be clueless.
