Zest and Me – 2

This is my second post portraying the 5 feelings/situations that zest’s up my life.
Maximum effort:
In every field, victory is what’s needed.
I say, for that to happen, you need maximum effort.
Winning and losing comes later.
I’ll give you my own example.
For 2 years while graduating, we had a football team who went and played in different tournaments.
We did not go past even 1 round.
Another team from the same college even joked saying we must stop embarrassing ourselves.
Imagine our state.
Morale took a toss.
But that did not stop us.
At the end of the final year, we happened to reach the semi finals of a tournament.
One of the most highlighted days in my life.
The team, who had once joked about us, had applauded our effort and said that we indeed are a good team.
Meeting far away family and friends:
This situation always brings zest in everyone’s life.
When you meet your family members who are geographically far away from you, it always calls for happiness and times of fun.
The same applies for friends.
There are some who you might meet after 5-10 years.
That situation and moment is priceless when you’ll see each other right?
Surprises:
Now who doesn’t like surprises?
I do.
Even though I don’t get many, but the ones I’ve got are worth every single penny.
They always light me up and make me happy.
Sunset + Beach combo:
This is one situation which brings a smile to me.
To feel the sand, to hear the calm voice of the sea and to witness the setting sun is one of the most beautiful things mankind has ever received as a gift.
Whenever I view this combination, I’m overwhelmed.
Many of my posts have been inspired with this combination.
I started a new segment of posts called “Thoughts” due to this scenario.
We all witness the same situation but render it differently.
Content:
A couple of years back I had the time of my life, and yes, at that moment, everything was in its place.
Situations were perfect and I was content with life.
Time changes everything right?
That’s probably one of the reasons why I haven’t been content since then.
Don’t know why.
Can’t figure it out yet.
But I do know one thing; that feeling was just unbelievable.
I end this post with a question for my readers.
Which is the best feeling that has added zest to your life?
Do get back to me with your answers.
Let’s get talking.
